Let's talk about Bo the Dog. {giveaway}

Bo pretty much thinks he's a person.
He's picky, he's kind of stupid, he's stubborn, he's funny and he's just a big ole baby.

I watched him try for five solid minutes to bring this big log into the house.
At one point he succeeded only to get sad when I threw it back outside.
Then I watched him carry it like this and literally bump into the door and jerk himself backwards because he tried to carry it in horizontally.
He is something else, that one.

See, he thinks he's a baby! Even likes to be held like one!  I blame David.  David used to carry him around like a baby when he was smaller.

So anyway, we were recently (and by recently I mean longer ago than I'd like to admit.  Sometimes I fail at remembering things) given the chance to try out Rachael Ray Nutrish®. Zero Grain dog food.
I can't say enough great things about this!  Bo loved it.  He gets really excited when the mailman brings a package because one time it actually was for him and so he was THRILLED to see that this was for him as well.

After I took this picture, I immediately opened a bag and gave him some.
He loved it!
I loved it!
I loved that the picky beast of a dog actually at it and seemed to enjoy it!

Our current dog is a Brittany named Dot. We adopted her in January and she already has her CGC and CD titles. She's such a joy, always happy to see us and she's got such a playful attitude!

I have a 9 year old Golden Retriever. His name is Titan & he is a beast! He weighs 130lbs, but it's not fat! He is so tall he can set his head on the dinner table :P (Which of course, we don't encorage AT ALL!)

My daughter picked out "her" puppy in 2005. He's a Jack-apoo named Boomer. (Poodle/Jack Russel mix). He's super awesome because he likes to play and be rough, but he sleeps ALL day and doesn't ever bother you to use the bathroom, which is super awesome when working midnights. He's super jealous of the 2 cats we brought into the house when he was the only pet around outside of a cage. He's scared of thunderstorms, and every night he sleeps in a bed with someone. He has to be touching them at all times. If he's not close enough, he will back his ass up until he's content. That annoys me because he's kinda chubby and you can feel his weight pressing AGAINST you. But if you move, he will just do it again. He has black and white fur that gets really shaggy and kinda curly in the winter when it's grown out. He's also food aggressive and will knock you down if someone drops food on the floor, even though he's a little guy...he's solid. I love that guy!

I have a 3 1/2 year old 110 pound couch potato named Bailey. :) She too thinks she's a person. When she was a puppy (which still wasn't small, mind you, she's a St. Bernard!) she used to sleep on our sectional with me. I would lay with my legs over one arm and my head in the middle on my pillow, and she would lay the other way with her head on my pillow from the other direction.

She ended up with a couch all her own. LOL!

But she's my Bailey Boo... And I can't imagine my life with my big old Bumble...

(She walked around carrying trees also as a puppy!! we have the cutest pictures of her on my fb page doing that. LOL!)

Since we can't have our own dog (my hubby is allergic) I love showering my doggie nephew with all my puppy love. He was adopted from a shelter so was always skitish around me until my brother & sister in law moved back to the area, we are now BFFs. We will go on walks together and he always makes sure I know when he needs his butt scratched. :) Oh and his name is Bowser :)

Your pup is SOOO cute! He looks so sweet :) My puppy's name is Bentley and he's a 2 and a half year old chocolate lab. He drives me ABSOLUTELY insane because he's still pretty high strung, but he's just the sweetest! The bond between him and Alea is what's keeping him around ;)

Bo is hilarious. I cracked up reading about his mission to get that log in the house!

Ooops. I forgot to tell you about my dog lol. Dobby is a Doxie and he's special. But he's also like my 3rd child. He's so protective of me and the kids and he gets so excited when there's any type of water outside:)

I have a 3 year old female Great Dane. She is 6'4 on hind legs, I would say about 175 ibs and thinks she is a lap dog. I'm not even joking she will come sit on my lap when I'm sitting down somewhere.

I have 2 dogs - Max is a German Shepherd - he is huge but thinks he is my baby and should be in my lap. My other dog is a JackRat and his name is Jack - he barks at everything and can get a bit annoying but he is still a sweetheart.
