Kids are so easily entertained.

The other day we had a "water party". I laughed about it but was so surprised to see how excited all three kids were about it. I filled one bucket with soap and water and the other two with just water. I gave them a few measuring cups, a little strainer and a few toys. They played with this stuff for almost an hour! I had to refill the water a few times but they had lots of fun making every trip to the sink and every puddle in the house to clean up totally worth it.

They even realized they could make prints on the sidewalk with their hands and feet and water. It was the funniest thing to watch.
So next time your kids are bored, give them buckets of water to play with.
I kid you not, kids are so easily entertained.

How fun! Good and fun way to entertain kids in the summer, without leaving your home :) I'm gonna have to try this with my little one!

It's amazing what a little water and buckets will do for a child's afternoon.

Happy Friday my friend!

I remember being fascinated by water (and sometimes mud) as a kid. I loved running through the sprinkler, water guns and water balloons. What a fun afternoon!
