It’s a bittle post.

My baby bittles feeling my baby bittle belly.

Had a dr appt today.
The baby’s heart rate bounced between 148-150.
I should hear from the ultrasound place next week to set up an appointment.
So get your guesses in while you can.
And before you completely base it on the heart rate, let me just show you THIS link I found and tell you why I have NO clue what it could be….

I’ll highlight in red the ones that suit me.

It's a boy if:

  • You didn't experience morning sickness in early pregnancy.
  • Your baby's heart rate is less than 140 beats per minute.
  • You are carrying the extra weight out front.
  • Your belly looks like a basketball.
  • Your areolas have darkened considerably.
  • You are carrying low.
  • You are craving salty or sour foods.
  • You are craving protein -- meats and cheese.
  • Your feet are colder than they were before pregnancy.
  • The hair on your legs has grown faster during pregnancy.
  • Your hands are very dry.
  • Your pillow faces north when you sleep.
  • Dad-to-be is gaining weight right along with you.
  • Pregnancy has you looking better than ever.
  • Your urine is bright yellow in color.
  • Your nose is spreading.
  • You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves in circles.
  • You are having headaches.
  • You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an even number.

It's a girl if:

  • You had morning sickness early in pregnancy.
  • Your baby's heart rate is at least 140 beats per minute.
  • You are carrying the weight in your hips and rear.
  • Your left breast is larger than your right breast.
  • Your hair develops red highlights.
  • You are carrying high.
  • Your belly looks like a watermelon.
  • You are craving sweets.
  • You are craving fruit.
  • You crave orange juice.
  • You don't look quite as good as normal during pregnancy.
  • You are moodier than usual during pregnancy.
  • Your face breaks out more than usual.
  • You refuse to eat the heel of a loaf of bread.
  • Your breasts have really blossomed!
  • Your pillow faces south when you sleep.
  • Your urine is a dull yellow color.
  • You hang your wedding ring over your belly and it moves from side
  • You add your age at the time of conception and the number for the month you conceived and the sum is an odd number.

It’s an even 6 for 6! Now, the wedding ring thing-no joke, I actually tried it and it started off swaying and then did circles.

So, what do YOU think the gender of my newest bittle will be?

Let me tell you how I spent my weekend.

We started off going to the farmer’s market and checking out all the deliciousness it has to offer. The burger in my hand…. that’s a NINE dollar burger. For two burgers and a gyro, it was $28! I almost shit myself! It was a very good burger though. Anyway… here’s baby lady and I sitting in the grass.

Then we headed to the mall to look for some hats. I’ve seriously had a floppy hat obsession lately but have yet to discover my perfect floppy hat.
How cute are these bittle hat models?! Yea, I know they are. Trust me, they do too!
So we did end up with new hats. Not the big floppy one I desired but I’m pretty happy with this one. I think it’s cute.

then we switched hats to see what we’d look like. Still cute. Yea, we both got cute hats. Hubby says mine is dumb but I like it so he can just hush up and deal with seeing the pics of the hat.

So then we headed to Pioneer park (also known as Alaska land)

While there, we rode the train.

This was our tour guide.

While there we also ate some delicious cotton candy.

Then rode the merry go round (twice)

Then on the way to eat at the Salmon bake, Handsome man decided he wanted to hug the giant fish. Baby girl said it was scary. She was pretty right!

Then finally, the salmon bake.  mmm.

It was a good good day Saturday.

Sunday was spent laying on the couch, cuddling and watching cartoons all day. Then we went and ate at Chili’s.  The Texas loaded fries—YUM!

So, that was our weekend.
How was yours?
Do tell me!

I say this WAY too often…. but Dear anonymous.

So after receiving the comment on THIS post saying
“do you do anything besides complain…that’s probably why you lost a follower”
Now if you follow me on twitter and actually maybe if you don’t (twitter is public, so who knows who saw this)
I tweeted, “I lost a blog follower after this blog: (inserted the link)… maybe they don’t like zombies?”—I don’t think that was complaining… It was just a haha maybe they don’t like zombies funny kind of thing.

But then I thought, “well maybe I do complain a lot” so I went back and reread the previous blogs…

THIS one about linky lovin’.  I think when you have “lovin” in the title it doesn’t count as a complaint.

THIS one about old friendships and remembering the good ole days. I don’t think reminiscing counts as complaining…..

then there was THIS one showing a bunch of pictures of what we’ve been up to. Now I did complain about the amount of money I spent on fans (cuz honestly, $95 for THREE fans is RIDICULOUS) but I don’t think that was really too much complaining either…

then there was THIS one—nothing but photos. No complaints there.

And the one before that was Things I love about summer. There was DEFINITELY no complaints there.

So I’m mostly a bit confused as to why you think I do nothing but complain. And I mostly think you’re kind of sad for hiding behind anonymous. That comment wasn’t anything to be ashamed of. Post a name with it. No need to hide, all you had to do was ask and I’d gladly discuss this with you.
I think I’ve done a decent job of showing you that I do LOTS of other stuff besides complain. I mean, I went back six posts and found only one major complaint (that really wasn’t much of one)  about the price of fans.
So whomever you are, maybe you need to find something better to do with your time than comment anonymously on my blog saying I complain too much when I clearly don’t.
Thanks!  *insert cheesy grin and two thumbs up here*

Dang you zombies, dang you!

Here it is…. 10am in my house.  I just rolled out of bed about half an hour ago.

From 3 o'clock this morning to 7 o'clock this morning ALL I did was lay in bed, rolling around and praying for sleep.
Why in the world did you just lay in bed for FOUR hours, you might ask….

Welp, this is where those gosh darn zombies come in.

3am I wake up in crazy freak out mode after having some dream about end of the world, only a few people left, zombies have taken over kind of dream/nightmare.

So between the zombies and the belly getting slightly uncomfortable and the constant urge to pee, I spent four hours laying in bed just rolling back and forth and hoping to sleep.

Finally a bit after 7 I dozed of and on til about 9 so that was nice. At least I’m not a zombie. <—haha! Punny.
So yea… maybe this post should be titled “dang you pregnancy dreams, dang you!”

But would that have really caught your attention like the zombie title?!

So with all of that said, I hope you guys sleep good and don’t turn into or get eaten by these evil fuckers:

Let’s talk about friends…

Stop what you’re doing.
Think back to a year or two ago.
Think about the friends you had and how you thought NOTHING could separate you guys.
Are you still friends?!
Did you have a falling out?
Or did you just slowly grow apart?

I was just browsing through some old pictures and it was bittersweet. Seeing all the old faces made me smile. All the memories, all the fun, thinking we’d be friends forever. Some I’m sad that I’ve lost. Some I KNOW was for the best.
Do you have friends like that?

Being a military wife tends to add to the different friends every few years. Some stay with you, some just stay where you left them.  They were what you needed at the time and hopefully if you had a falling out, it wasn’t dramatic and it didn’t cause issues with others. I’m sad to say that I’ve had a few like that. On them. Not me. Over time I’ve come to realize that people will make their own conclusion about me if they’ve heard things or not. And I’ve also learned that we don’t all have to be friends. ….. let me say that again, WE DON’T ALL HAVE TO BE FRIENDS!!  I think some people still need to realize that.
with that said, if you don’t like me… don’t pretend. I won’t be hurt. I’ll be grateful that you owned up to it.

Wow—I’m definitely rambling.
Like I said, bittersweetness while looking through old pictures.

Anyway…. on that note, I’ll leave you with a few of these pictures.
I’m still friends with most of these people. Not nearly as close as we were in these pictures, but like I said… it’s part of life. I’m very blessed to have had such amazing people to call my friends.

Hey guys! Remember me?!

Well, I remember you!!!  Sorry I’ve been all MIA, but let me explain myself….

We’ve been out swimming….

And outside painting.

And looking all purdy like.

And treating baby girl to starbucks milk

and playing dress up
and sleeping
and making sand angels.

Are you guys enjoying your summers?! We sure are!

Belly update: I am 14wks today.
I’ve lost 8 pounds.
I think I’m starting to show.
Some days I look pregnant,
some just pudgy-like.
Oh and my friend says my boobs have gotten bigger. Like WHOA bigger.

This pic was at 11wks 6days.
Baby’s head is on the left.
My next appt is in another 3 weeks.
I’ll keep you guys posted.

Hubby update:
He’s good. As good as can be. We get to chat a bit daily, so that’s nice. So far our conversations last NO longer than 10 minutes on facebook chat, but still. Just hearing from him is nice.
Damn dog update: She’s a lot better. She’s a sweet thing. Still likes to chew. (I’ve bought two hoses this week. YAY puppy) She’s currently laying on the couch beside me, hogging all my air.

Alaska update:
HOLY HELL IT’S HOT!
I had to go buy some more fans…. walmart was out!! OUT of fans!!
”no biggie, I’ll check the PX”
head to the PX—NOPE!!
As I’m walking out, I over hear this girl asking a worker about them and she says THEY ARE OUT!! And won’t have more in for another few WEEKS.
So, I head to Lowes. *sigh*
This lady tells me to grab em while I can, cuz they’re going fast!
Sure enough while I’m standing there comparing fans and prices, this guy walks by me and grabs TWO!!! One of which I was comparing!
I ended up spending $95 (with a $10 military discount) on… are you ready for this…
THREE fans.
that’s right…..
THREE!!

RIDICULOUS!

Have I mentioned lately how overpriced things are in Alaska?! Not all things, but three fans for $110?! Are you kidding me?!
They’re TINY ass fans too!! I’ll have to get some pictures for you guys.  I’m not kidding when I say they are TINY.

Oh, my eye dermal thingy—it’s about to go. I accidentally pulled it out a while back. Not all the way out, but enough to where it wont stay in my face. I’m gonna have to get it removed. (YouTube how they remove dermal eye implant thingies. I’m pretty not excited!)
That is pretty much the highlights of my life right now.
