An interview with myself.

When Amy approached me asking if I'd be interested in doing this with her, I quickly agreed! I'm so glad she thought to ask me and so excited to be a part of this!
So without further ado, here's week 1!
Finnie. Day 1.

1. Before you ever even had children, how did you feel about being a mother?
I'm not sure I'd ever put much thought into it honestly. I always knew that I'd have kids but I'm one of those people that doesn't do a lot of thinking about the future. It never seems to go as planned for me, which actually sort of works out for me now being a military spouse.

2. Since becoming a mother, what is something that has happened that you never thought would?
Oh my goodness, EVERYTHING! You always think, "when I'm a mom, my kids will....." or "my kids will not....." And then you become a mother and find yourself doing those exact things you said you wouldn't.

3. Is being a mother less difficult, more difficult or exactly how difficult you imagined?
Eh. A bit of everything. Being a mother is more stressful, more heartbreaking, more amazing, more wonderful, more exhausting and more of a blessing than I'd ever imagined.

4. What is your fondest memory of being a mother (so far)?
Laughter. I never knew how quickly my heart could melt from the sound of my child's laugh.
Even better-me making them laugh.
Even better than that-David making them laugh.
Best of all, them making each other laugh!

5. If your children only learn one life lesson from you, what do you hope it is?
Honestly, I just want them to grow up to be good people.
If they're kindhearted good people then I think I did my job well.
