Revolt. Week 1.

If you read this post last week than you know that I signed my life away.

Okay, not really but shooooooot. This is hard!
Overall, David and I eat pretty healthy but this strict meal plan is killing me.
It's delicious food, it's all food I'd eat anyway but just the idea of NOT being able to eat what I want when I want is killing me.

Nichole makes this a no brainer! Between the day to day meal plan and the workout videos that are differently daily, it's truly easy peasy to follow.
My biggest problem is getting my brain to agree with that last sentence.

I've also realized this week how much of a snacker I used to be! Handing Owen some cheese its, I'd always grab a few. Maddie'd bring me a string cheese when she grabbed herself one. I'd eat a few pieces of cereal out of the kids' bowls in the morning, etc etc.
And do you know how hard it is not to taste test the dinner I'm making for the family?! HOLY MOLY!

I started with Detox week and overall I'm glad that I did. I figured if I could get through this first week, I can easily make it through the rest no problem! Again, all foods that I normally eat but the the repetitiveness of it got to me about day 4.  I just got bored with the idea of eating the same thing I'd eaten for the past 3 days. It was still a delicious meal and once I started eating it, I was okay with it but my biggest hurdle is definitely getting my mind in the right spot.

Each week we have a "cheat day". My cheat day was literally adding sugar back to my coffee which I actually regret because I'd just started getting used to coffee without sugar. Dang it.
And I did have a frappachino from Starbucks because it was happy hour and I think I just seriously earned that after this first week.

David bought me wine and mini snickers for my cheat day to help me celebrate making it through the week without killing someone cheating.  I truly underestimated how difficult it would be to get my head in the right spot.  I stuck with it though. Some days I had some almonds or 1/2 a banana because I was super shaky and it was too early for my next meal but take my word for it when I say I worked that off quickly.

My body is so sore but in the best way! THE BEST WAY! I'm actually okay with being sore.
Poor David's probably tired of listening to me whine and complain but even after I've complained, he knows I'm glad I'm doing this. And I probably wouldn't have made it this far if I hadn't been complaining to him.

As far as my measurements go:

May 6. (After week 1 because I forgot to take per-measurements.
Thigh-26.5 inches
Arm 13 inches
Hips 44 inches
Waist 40 inches

I didn't see a big jump in weight loss like most people did after detox week but I already drank a lot of water and most people just lost water weight in the first week.
I feel better, exhausted after the workouts but overall, I feel just better.
Yeah. Wanna join me now? Go here. Join me!
