A SUPER easy salsa recipe!

Have you seen these in the stores?!  I hadn't, but I'd seen people talking about them and I was super excited to get to try these! They just looked so delicious!
I’ve always enjoyed veggie chips. So when Green Giant sent me these two varieties of their new Veggie Tortilla Chips and Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips, I was happy to give them a try!

Even the kids loved them! Maddie & Owen and I ate the BBQ ones with their sandwiches for lunch.
David and I ate the Garden Ranch with salsa while movie watching! SO good!!
I even managed to sneak some into Fin's lunchbox before they were all gone- he was happy about that after Maddie told him all about her lunch and how good the "new chips mom gotted us" were.

Also, I wanted to share a super easy and tasty salsa recipe with you- my mom makes it all the time, so really you should be thanking her for it.

You'll need:
  1.  A can of whole tomatoes (I use the larger can)
  2. Jalapeno slices (in the jar)
  3. Minced Garlic (don't try powdered-it's not the same)
  4. Salt

In a blender you'll need to dump the tomatoes, then add garlic (about two teaspoons) and about a teaspoon of jalapenos- blend.
    Add salt.
(the jalapenos, salt and garlic are all up to YOUR personal taste preferences so play with the recipe a bit and see what you like best- I like it spicier. My mom likes it more garlicy).

This salsa is seriously really good but best after it's sat in the fridge for a few hours for the flavors to sit and mix together.  I highly highly recommend eating the salsa with the Garden Ranch Green Giant chips,  together they were just such a great combination of flavors!!

Also, sorry for the lack of pictures,  I've been feeling a bit under the weather these past few days.

Yum! Now I know what to use all the tomotoes in my garden for! They all seem to be ripening at the same time-- perfect for salsa! And now you have me craving those Ranch chips as well ;)

I would have never thought of using canned whole tomatoes for this - sounds super simple for salsa in a pinch! :)
